Macklin is a member of the Living Sky School Division No.202 and at present has the second highest school population at 450 students. If you would like more information about the school divison; please visit their website.

Over the past 15 years students from Macklin School have been awarded over $1 million dollars in scholarships. The school is presently undergoing a $2 million dollar expansion by way of a new gymnasium.

Macklin also has a playschool which accepts both three and four year olds and four year olds are the focus of the story hour program at the local library.
